Tragedy struck in Osun as two yet-to-be identified siblings were found dead following thunder lightning that accompanied heavy downpour on Sunday in Ikirun, Ifelodun local government area of Osun State.

The incident happened at Orisa-Elejin area of the town. They were aged 14 and 16 years.

It was gathered that the two siblings stole someone’s wallet which was found on the younger one.

According to  a resident of the area who spoke on condition of anonymity, there was a certain amount of money in the purse when it was stolen.

“Two siblings stole purse for keeping money (igbanu) few days ago and the owner promised to deal with whoever steals her purse, thunder  killed the two of  them this evening. The stolen purse was seen on the body of the younger one
