President and Founder of Aspire Women Forum (AWF), Barrister Zainab Marwa-Abubakar has been appointed into the digital transformation committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC by the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the party.

A lawyer and gender balance advocate, Zainab Marwa-Abubakar, is the daughter of the Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd). She is also the Founder of Zawram Foundation, an organisation that promotes peace and uplift economic wellbeing of women.

A letter signed by the party’s National Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe conveyed Governor Mai Mala Buni, chairman of the CECPC’s approval for the appointment. “The party is convinced that your invaluable credentials will be of immense benefit to the party in this endeavour”, the letter dated August 26, 2021 stated.
