LG ELECTRONICS DONATES EIGHT UNITS OF INVERTER AIRCONDITIONERS TO GH IFAKO-IJAIYE- The Legend News

 

The  Medical Director, General Hospital, Ifako-Ijaiye, Dr. Bamidele Mustapha, has commended LG Electronics, a global leader in consumer electronics, for donating eight units of newly introduced Artcool Inverter Air Conditioners to the hospital as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

He said the gesture exemplified the commitment of the organisation to the community, saying that “With this act of kindness, LG Electronics has distinguished itself as a brand that truly cares for the health of the community”.

While wishing the organisation further breakthrough in cutting edge digital products and services, Dr. Mustapha gave an assurance that the hospital will put the devices to good use and ensure adequate maintenance.

The Medical Director also called on other well-meaning individuals, corporate bodies and organisations to emulate LG Electronics’ gesture and support the hospital’s healthcare system for the benefit of the community.

Earlier, the General Manager, Air Solution, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, Mr. Jung June Yoon, said the gesture was borne out of the desire to support healthcare delivery services in Nigeria, contribute to improved living conditions of its esteemed customers as well as the general public.

His words: “It is my firm belief that the items we are donating today will go a long way to empower this health facility as well as the people of this community in their quest to enjoy sound health”.

Also speaking at the event, the Head of Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, Mr. Hari Elluru said “We believe that the air conditioning units will improve the service delivery in the hospital and also provide a conducive environment for the medical personnel and patients.
