Animal pets are one of the most lovely companions in human lives and most time, animals that are mild like cats, dogs are the ones most people use for pets.

However, would you believe that people also use wild animals like lions as their pets ?. Yes!, They are dangerous and not advisable to bring into homes but when they are well trained by professionals, it is safe to live with humans.

Such practices are mostly done by Arabians but there are some Nigerians who also love and fancy the idea of using lions as pets. In this article, we will be discussing the top 4 celebrity pet lion owners.

1. Ahmed Indimi: In 2021, Ahmed Indimi is President Buhari’s Son-In-Law & he is married to Zahra Buhari, one of the president’s daughters.

Ahmed bought the lion as a pet and showed it off on his Instagram page and it caused massive reactions as it was already growing fast.

2. Soso Soberekon: In 2019, popular Nigerian music executive and talent manager, Soso bought a little white lion.

According to him, the lion is his son and he shared a video of them playing together on his Instagram page.

The video shows how aggressive the little lion already plays which was a major concern from fans after he shared the video.

3. DJ Cuppy: In 2019, popular Nigerian disk jockey and billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola’s daughter bought a little white lion and shared the photos on her Instagram page.

DJ Cuppy revealed that she named it “Cuppy” and she is now “Mama Cups”. However, DJ Cuppy doesn’t live with the lion.

She usually visits her pet lion where it is well taken care of by professionals and in the second grid on the photo attached above was her visit to it 10 months after its purchase.

4. Runtown: In 2018, Nigerian musician Runtown bought a little white lion and shared it on his Instagram page signifying that it’s his new pet lion.

Runtown one year later shared photos of the growing pet lion in 2019 to show off its incredible growth and since then, he has never shown it online.
