Due to the out break of third wave of COVID-19 pandemic,Lagos State Government has given directive to all staff of Lagos State to adhere strictly to the safety guidelines in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus among workers.
Lagos State Government gives the instructions through the Lagos State, Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola that all staff must wear face mask, without wearing the face mask to work, no entry to the Secretariat,Alausa,in Lagos State.
His words to the workers:
Please sir I wish to draw your kind attention to the fact that whilst most of the MDAs enforce the “no mask, no entry” rule, most people working around the secretariat are either not wearing a mask at all or just hanging it on their chins.
I was alarmed when I saw majority (if not all) of those queuing up to enter the staff buses on Thursday and Friday not wearing a face mask.
Could you please use your good office to reiterate the fact that we, the public servants must lead by example .
