2022 World Cup Qualifier: Nigeria Defeats Central African Republic 2:0- The Legend News

Nigeria Super Eagles on Sunday defeated Central African Republic 2:0 in a 2020 world cup qualifier played in Yaounde, Cameroon.

The Gernot Rohr’s men revenged a 1:0 lost in Lagos last Thursday against Raoul Savoy’s Wild Beasts at Japoma Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Leon Balogun and Victor Oshimen secured the top spot for the Super Eagles with 9 points from four games.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria skipper, Ahmed Musa earned his 100th international cap having featured in Thursday’s 1-0 defeat against Raoul Savoy’s Wild Beasts.

The Super Eagles are unbeaten in their last 19 matches in the competition to before Thursday lost.

This stat is expected to boost the confidence of the Super Eagles who are still shaken from their shock home loss in the first leg.
