A couple, Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun and Salawa Oyenusi Ajalorun, was arrested alongside six others for the alleged killing of a 26-year-old girl, Oyindamola Adeyemi. The suspects were arrested for kidnapping, killing and dismembering a victim’s remains by the Ogun State Police command, Daily Post reports.
The Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, while parading the other suspects, gave thier names as Lukman Oladele, Kayode Ibrahim, Alebiosu Adebayo, Bello Akeem, Fatai Rasheed and Fatai Jimoh.
However, the suspects when paraded confessed to the crime and noted that the first lured the victim to her boyfriend’s house where they had organized and planned that once she enters, two other accomplice, Olutufese and Oladele would trap her down and strangulate her to death. On the fateful day, their strategies worked as planned and the deceased fell victim and she was killed by the two men.
The suspects also noted that after they killed the victim, they cut her body parts into pieces and sold her heart for N50,000 to Akeem Bello, her legs for N30,000, while her head was also sold to another standby buyer.
The suspects while speaking to newsmen said, “The deceased was lured to Taiwo’s house, who happened to be her manfriend, but as soon as she entered, she was pinned down by both Olutufese and Oladele and strangled to death. And after killing the 26-year-old lady, we sold her heart for N50,000 and her legs for N30,000 and we also cut off her head and two hands and sold it to our standby buyers to be used for money-making rituals.
Nevertheless, the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Lanre Bankole, has ordered Ogun policemen to fish out those ritualists who bought the head of the deceased and charge them to court.
