A yet-to-be-identified man has drowned after he was swept away by heavy flooding after a heavy down pour in the Abuke Egba area of Lagos state.
The man was swept away by the flood and then got trapped in a hole covered with water. Passersby who saw him tried their best to pull him from the water. A video showing how residents worked to try and rescue the man, was shared online. According to reports, efforts to rescue the man proved abortive, Lindaikejisblog reports.
