A heartbreaking video has captured a moment a car owner broke down in tears after seeing his car being auctioned for less than N400,000 in his presence.
The Lagos State Government on Thursday, September 15 2022 auctioned at least 134 vehicles impounded for various traffic offences.
The exercise was carried out at the headquarters of Lagos State Taskforce and Special Offences Unit, Bolade Oshodi, Oshodi-Isolo Local Goverment Area.
Residents thronged the venue to bid for various types of vehicles including cars, buses, Sport Utility Vehicles, SUV, among others.
Offenders also arrived with the expectations to bid for their vehicles and get their cars back at an affordable price but they were shocked to meet crowd of businessmen, ready with cash to also bid for the seized vehicles.
