The Fire started at the top floor of the above located 3 storey building at 9:18 pm. The building was said to be used to store highly flammable goods such as polyethylene nylon, polyester clothes and pcv and others such as fireworks
In no time the fire spread to the upper floor of two other 3 storey adjoining buildings.
Responders at the scene were Lasema LRU with their fire engines and Lagos State Fire Service
The scene was extremely challenging due to a large number of parked vehicles. There were no reports of occupants and no casualties encountered in the course of the operation.
Thanks to aggressive action backed by the ground monitoring and several other branches from Federal Fire,the flames were eventually extinguished around 7.15am.
Post incident enumeration and assessment ongoing. The affected buildings have been cordoned off.
