A fatal multiple accident occurred in Lagos and claimed the lives of two individuals at the scene of incident.
Permanent secretary,LASEMA,Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu issued a statement that confirmed the incident.
Following the report, recovery efforts have been ongoing at the scene of the road traffic crash at Alaka inwards Stadium in Lagos.
The victims who suffered various degrees of injuries have been attended to by LASEMA Paramedics and have been transported to the Federal Medical Centre, Yaba for further medical treatment.
The two deceased individuals, one adult female and one adult male, have been identified and their bodies have been removed from the scene.
Additionally, investigations are still being conducted to determine the cause of the accident and gather more information about the vehicles involved.
The responding agencies, including LASEMA Response Team, FRSC, LASTMA, LASAMBUS, LASG FIRE, and the Nigeria Police, continue to work together to manage the situation and ensure the safety of responders and the public.
