An incident report from LASEMA states that a Toyota Avalon with registration number CAL-466GA plunged into a canal due to a brake failure while on top speed. The car lost control, swerved off the road, and ended up in the canal.
The accident which occurred at Constain Roundabout inward Eko bridge.

PS LASEMA in a statement which confirm the incident.
At the time of the operation, the driver and occupants were not found as they were receiving treatment at a nearby private hospital.
LASEMA’s Cobra Squad arrived at the scene and used their heavy-duty equipment to recover the accidented car from the canal, subsequently handing it over to NPF (Iponri Division) for further investigation. The operation has been concluded.
