Tobi Amusan’s Olympic Dreams Shattered, Fails To Qualify For 100m Hurdles Final | The Legend News

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan, the 2022 world champion and world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, has failed to reach the final of the women’s 100m hurdles event at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.

She came third in her heat with a time of 22.55 seconds.

But her time was not good enough as another athlete, that came fourth in her heat with a time of 22.52 qualified ahead of Amusan with a better time.

Again, Nigeria’s 4 by 400-meter team that came second in the Semi final got disqualified for line violation.
