President Bola Tinubu has officially approved the Student Loans (Access to Higher Education) Act (Repeal and Re-Enactment) Bill of 2024.
The newly enacted legislation aims to offer financial assistance to university students who lack the means to complete their academic pursuits, with the expectation that they will repay the loans once they are gainfully employed.
Tinubu endorsed the bill on Wednesday after thorough evaluations by the Senate and the House of Representatives. The report which was from the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund.
