A delegation from South Korea recently visited the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to discuss collaboration on the establishment of an Information Access Centre (IAC). Led by key figures in South Korea’s technology sector, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with NCC officials to share expertise and insights on setting up the IAC.
The Information Access Centre aims to improve access to essential information and resources, particularly in the telecommunications sector, to drive innovation and progress in Nigeria’s digital landscape. During the visit, both parties exchanged ideas on effective strategies and best practices for implementing the IAC.
The South Korean delegation commended the NCC for its efforts in promoting transparency and accessibility in the telecommunications industry and expressed their readiness to support the establishment of the IAC. This collaboration is expected to lead to significant advancements in information dissemination and accessibility, ultimately benefiting the growth and development of Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.
