Many hours ago, a suspect named Mr. Lanre Adekanbi, was paraded by men of the ogun state’s Police command alongside his accomplices for the death of Mr. Fatinoye and his family members.
The prime suspect, who claimed being the deceased’s driver said, “Mr. Fatinoye was paying me twenty five thousand naira (25k) as his driver but we met N9.5m in his account after killing him. He had sent us N1.1m before he was killed on that day.”
Confessing further, the suspect said, “one of us named Koffi was the one who poured petrol in the house and set it ablaze after the attack.”
Again, the deceased’s driver said, “Akamo was the one who sold the man’s car after we killed him. He went to sell the car shortly after hearing that policemen have arrested me.”
Lastly, a family member of the Fatinoyes said, “I never expected Lekan to do such a thing because Mrs. Fatinoye only helped him. She met him at her workplace and ensured that her husband employed him as a driver. I want justice to prevail because this is too much to bear.”
