A truck laden with 40ft container was involved in a lone accident, due to the reckless driving.
No loss of life but the driver got Injured and was quickly rush to the hospital for treatment

Permanent Secretary, LASEMA, stating that, “On arrival of the Agency’s LRT at the scene of incident, a lone accident involving a truck laden with 40ft container was encountered.
“Further information gathered at the incident scene revealed that the immediate cause of the incident was due to reckless driving.
There was no loss of live (s), but driver of the truck sustained a broken leg, However, he had been rushed to an unknown hospital before the arrival of LRT.
LRT, LASTMA and NPF are responders present at scene.
The truck with it’s container has been recovered off the road with the aid of the Agency’s heavy duty equipment (Goliath), with all secondary incidents averted in the process as well.
