An articulated truck laden with two (2) units of container was involved in an accident and fell by its side as a result of reckless driving while driving along the carriageway at Ijaiye inward mairan in Lagos today.
As at filling this reports, no live was lost and the driver escaped unhurt at the scene of the incident.
According to the Permanent Secretary,LASEMA,Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, it was stated that “On arrival at the incident scene, an articulated truck laden with two (2) units of container was discovered to have fallen on its side while driving along the carriageway.
“Investigation conducted revealed the immediate cause due to reckless driving.
He further said that “The driver escaped unhurt while the flow of vehicular movement was managed by LASTMA officials and has now been fully restored to normalcy.
“The Agency’s heavy-duty equipment (Goliath) has since completed the recovery operations. No further update,he added.
