The Scene of a Truck laden with a 20ft container had a bursted tyre while on motion, then crashed on the express road and blocking both the express way and the service lane at Anthony Inward Oworo in Lagos at the late hour of yesterday.
According to the Permanent Secretary LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke Osanyintolu, PS LASEMA in a situation report available to the Press.
He said ” Upon arrival of the team at the scene, a truck with registration number JJJ 597 XP laden with a 20ft container had a bursted tyre while on motion, then crashed on the express road and blocking both the express way and the service lane was encountered.
Further investigation gathered at the scene revealed that the truck had a punctured tyre while driving inward Oworo and then lost control before falling on the its side.
No loss of life but the motor boy who sustained serious injury was attended to and taken to Trauma centre for treatment with the Agency’s ambulance.
The Agency’s LRT alongside NPF are responders at the scene.
The LRT await the arrival of the Agency’s heavy-duty equipment Goliath for recovery operation.
