Rep. Wale Raji, Member, Federal House of Representatives, Representing Epe Federal Constituency, has handedover two boreholes and 2 generator set to the good people of okun-imosun and mofogunde communities in ise-igbogun, ward B1, in Epe Division.
Speaking through his representative, Hon Ahmed Moruf during the handing over on Monday, in Epe, Hon. Raji disclosed that the development was part of the feedback on pressing needs he received during his campaign to the rural communities.
The lawmaker said that the gesture was to boost the basic amenities needs of the good people of Okun-Imosan and Mafoogunde communities.
“These people are under my constituency watch, therefore, I need to provide them with their basic needs to improve their well-being.
“Boreholes and generator set were their major needs and I promised to make it available for them which I have done.
“The electorates have bestowed their mandate on me by voting me as their representative, my responsibility is to give back to the constituency, which I have done and will continue to do, “he said.
The legislator who was recently re-elected for an unprecedented third term promised to influence and attract dividend of democracy for the good people of his constituency.
Earlier, Mr Kareem Dauda, a community leader from Okun-Imosan appreciated the kind gestures of the lawmaker.
He said that the basic necessity needs of the community have been met and we are happy about the development.
“As one of the community heads, I will ensure that the amenities provided will be used judiciously and effectively.
“As “Oliver Twist” we crave for more development in the community which we are sure that our performing legislature will do, ” he said. (NAN).
