Netizens have reacted after some Nigerians took to their social media page to share the new naira notes they were given at their various banks.
Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria officially introduced the new naira notes on Thursday, the 15th of December, 2022 across the country. It was said that the new N200, N500 and 1000 naira notes which were introduced will be difficult to forge.
While Nigerians have been doing just that, some Nigerians have taken to the social media to showcase some new naira notes that appeared abnormal among the new naira notes given to them at the bank.
As seen in the pictures making the round on social media, these new naira notes were not cut properly. One of the abnormal new naira notes is a N500 note which wasn’t cut and shaped to the appropriate measurement. There was also a N100 note which had excess measurement in the cutting.
