Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa, District 9110 was chartered August 2020 under the Change Maker President of the Club, Rotarian (Prince) Adeyemi Aseperi-Shonibare, the club while celebrating its first anniversary on Friday induct new members.

The Change Maker President, Rotarian (Prince) Adeyemi Aseperi-Shonibare said “Rotary International is recognized worldwide for its humanitarian and community services. We are more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world.”

The Lead Speaker, Assistant Governor, Rotarian Mufutau Adelotan spoke intensively on ‘Membership-Nurturing a new Club’, Make it Easy, Make it Fun and Members Testimonies’ at Eriths Apartments and Suites, Opebi Ikeja.

Past President of Ikeja Club, Rotarian Olumuyiwa Fagbola, who was in attendance at the anniversary/membership seminar series gave a goodwill message and pledged support on behalf of the Rotary Club of Ikeja Club who birth Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa.

Recently, Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa commissioned a botanical garden at Olusosun Primary School in partnership with Lambstand Gardens, the giant stride of the club is one of the many ways Rotary International is celebrating its existence through service to humanity.

The first anniversary ceremony was witnessed by the AG Rotarian Mufutau Adelotan, It was a well-attended event by Rotary leaders led by Past President and Director, Past District Governor Bola Oyebade; other Past Assistant Governor Rotarian Ade Oyenekan and others.
