The Nigerian Christendom was once again hit with a big shock following the sudden deàth of Pastor Bola Akin-John. The man of God widely know for his pacesetting teaching on Church growth, had his transition officially announced by his family.
The family of Dr. Akin-John, the founder of the lnternational Church Growth Ministry, confirmed his demise through a press release. The stated that he died after a brief illness.
“The entire family of Akin- John and the International Church Growth Ministry is deeply saddened to announce to the public in general that our father, grand father, teacher of truth, God’s General, the growth man, Dr. Bola Akin-John, after a brief illness slept in the Lord on the 6th of October, 2023 in Lagos, Nigeria”, the press release reads.
“He passed on from death to eternal life.
He will be forever be in our hearts”, the release signed by his son, Francis Ibukunoluwa Akin-John, for the family stated.
