National House Fair, an epoch-making event designed to promote national development through sustainable housing during the week hosted the Ooni of Ife during the week at the first ever Lagos Edition of the National House Fair held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.
The 51st traditional Ruler of the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-Ife, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, while speaking at the event noted that asset management in Nigeria has not gotten to the level of securitization. Everything is always very difficult in this country. At the end of the day, the young upcoming are suffering from this issue. Explaining further, he noted that the novel idea of Bstan Homes and Properties to create properties for not just the upper-class but also the upper class is a very fantastic effort.
Speaking during the Seventh Edition of the event, The Convener of the National House Fair, HRH Dr. Becky Olubukola, noted that the fundamental idea behind the group is the passionate concern about the state of the nation. While noting that the standard of living in the country is very low.
The Bstan Homes and Properties Boss disclosed that this year’s event is dubbed ‘Property in a sachet: Gateway to a Better Life’. While explaining that in order to create livable and sustainable housing and community for the average citizens, the group divulged that a new housing initiative dubbed Property in a Sachet(P.I.S) is a pocket-friendly and very flexible system. The PIS initiative would improve the standard of living in Lagos and Aftica at large. Noting that the initiative would give people the opportunity to buy spread payment for as much as 8 months without no interest.
The event which afforded stakeholders the opportunity to deliberate on issues, policies and procedures affecting the housing industry and proffer solutions in synchronization with the recent global technologies, innovations and best practices.
The programme equally brought together captains of industries, First class Obas, real estate investors, business owners and CEOs of different organizations to discuss and recommend strategies
