Hon. Adeyemo Olalekan has resigned position, as the Deputy Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State.
In a Press Statement released by the Ondo APC secretariat, Olalekan said he had also withdrawn his membership of the party from his Unit 10, Ward 6 Ogbagi Akoko in Akoko North West local government area of the state.
He notes that, “I am no more member of Ondo state APC exco. I withdraw also my membership of the party in my unit, ward, local government, senatorial district, Ondo State and Nigeria.”
He gave reason for his decision, saying “I can’t continue to be part of oppressors in Nigeria. Adeyemo Olalekan, who was the Deputy State youth leader APC Ondo State. said”
Reacting, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejare expressed surprise over the development, adding that Olalekan was yet to notify the party leadership officially as he was still at the State Working Committee meeting held yesterday in Akure.
