A group of Nigerian elite class , Nigerian in Diasporan Think Tank, NDTT with membership across Europe, America and Africa as well Canada, Australia and the Mideast , has expressed its heartfelt felicitations with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was declared Nigerian President elect having won the majority of votes in the excess of 8 million to emerge winner of the keenly contested Presidential Election which held on Saturday, February 25th, 2023.
Nigerians in Diaspora Think Tank, has membership within the bracket of not less than 300 members and over 1000 followers across the globe. The organization has continued to champion the course of good governance in Nigeria preaching Democracy and the need for free and fair polls .
The Chairman of NDTT, the Detroit Michigan based Prof. Salewa Olafioye, former United Nations Diplomat, in his remarks felicitating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wrote, “long before the general elections, I have had this conviction Asiwaju would win overwhelmingly. In fact while the collation begun I was almost a step from proclaiming him the winner, more-or-less like a seer who has the conviction and rare grace of seeing the end of an endeavor, I practically gave it to Asiwaju to win the vote.
” Thus,when the results were announced, I was not disappointed that The Jagarban of Bogu carried the day. Nigerians who are Progressives at heart will no doubt support Tinubu not based on their whims but based on empirical and verifiable evidence of the leadership potentials the President elect possess and which he had exhibited to change the narrative in Lagos State.
” I am happy for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and I am convinced that his tenure will renew the hope of Nigerians in all spheres,” Prof Olafioye enthused.

Kashim Shettima on this history making victory.
