NCC Urges Licensees To Keep Contact Information Current To Avoid Penalties | The Legend News

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has emphasized the importance of timely updates to contact details for all licensed entities. According to the Licensing Regulations of 2019, licensees are required to inform the NCC of any changes to their contact information within a week of the change.

The NCC’s Director of Public Affairs, Reuben Muoka highlighted that maintaining accurate contact information is crucial for effective regulatory oversight and ensures smooth communication between the commission and its licensees. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in sanctions, underscoring the necessity for licensees to stay vigilant in managing their contact details.

Licensees are required to update the following information via the NCC’s eServices platform at https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng by January 9, 2025:

Physical Address: Principal place of business, including postcode, geographic coordinates, and landmarks.

Mailing Address: If different from the physical address.

Email Addresses: Current and active email contacts.

Telephone Numbers: Updated and reachable contact numbers.

Contact Personnel Details: Names and details of relevant personnel.

The NCC has warned that failure to provide accurate and locatable physical address details will result in appropriate sanctions.
