The Federal Government has taken notice of the commendable efforts led by Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), in enhancing the quality of telecom services for consumers.
During a recent meeting with Dr. Maida and other key officials, Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Minister for Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, expressed his satisfaction with the consumer-centric initiatives spearheaded by the NCC under Dr. Maida’s leadership.
Dr. Tijani commended the EVC/CEO for his exceptional leadership qualities, stating, “I am impressed by the strategic approach taken by Dr. Maida and the NCC team to elevate telecom services from ‘Quality of Service’ to an enhanced ‘Quality of Experience.'”
The Minister emphasized that the NCC’s focus on promoting consumer interests aligns with the government’s Strategic Blueprint to enhance the telecom sector’s contribution to the economy.
Dr. Tijani further added, “The proactive measures implemented by the NCC indicate that we are making progress in the right direction to enhance the sector’s impact on our daily lives.”
