Nigerian football star Mikel Obi has announced that he recently underwent a successful surgery at the prestigious Princess Grace Hospital in the United Kingdom.
The former Super Eagles captain shared photos of his journey on Instagram, showing his pre-op preparation and post-op recovery.
Mikel Obi’s positive attitude shone through in his captions, with “Pre-op, let’s go!” before the surgery and “All good, #PostOp” after the procedure.
Although the nature of the surgery was not disclosed, his swift recovery is a testament to his strength and resilience.
This is not the first time Mikel Obi has faced a health challenge with courage and determination.
In April 2017, he underwent a successful surgery in the UK and went on to make a full recovery. We wish him a speedy recovery .
