World famous saxophonist and AfroGospel Jazz legend, Kunle Ajayi, Midnight Crew leader, Pat Uwaje-King and iconic Gospel Music Publisher, Dr. Faith Ajiboye, are set to host the 2023 annual Equip Global Music Conference.
This year’s which is the Season 13 edition of top ranked conference will take place virtually on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023. The organizers, “Today’s Music Africa” informed that this edition will be bigger and better than the previous editions. According to the convener, and CEO of Today’s Music Africa, Dr. Faith Ajiboye, participants to the this year’s conference will benefit so much from their globally updated course contents and the huge wealth of experience of their new globally reputable music facilitators and musicologists. These includes: US-based multiple award winning, Dare David, Pat Uwaje-King, of the Midnight Crew, Dr Seyi Kenny Associate professor and Head of Music Department, University of Lagos and others
In addition, “they will draw more from the rare practical experiences of internationally acclaimed musicologists and music producers. They are Pastor Kunle Ajayi, the Worldwide Music Director of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Tosin Alao, aka Sir Tee and Dr. Seyi Kenny, who is also an accomplished recording artistes.
Speaking in an interview with The Legend News, Dr. Ajiboye, the publisher of “Today’s Music Africa” magazine, said that the conference which is self sponsored by him, is aimed at training and retraining Nigeria choristers, gospel musicians, sound engineers, music producers and technical term of the music ministry and industry for better and optimal output. This training will generally the quality of music production with World-class standards for the Nigerian glowing music industry”, he said.
In his message, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, noted he is a facilitator to the conference, because it has impacted the music industry, especially the gospel music ministry. He encouraged music professionals to participate in the conference to sharpen their musical knowledge and skills for global success.
Dare David, the US-based African only Stellar Awards Nominee till date, said that he is highly elated to be part of the visionary concert. David who is debuting in Equip Music Conference, promised to impart and empower the participants with hi vas knowledge in choir directing, music production, recording and sound engineering he as acquired in the continents of Asia and America.
Equip Music Conference, has in the last twelve years trained over 50,000 gospel music professional within and outside Nigeria. It has also empower gospel musicians with the updated technical knowledge they need to excel their musical callings till date.
