A woman identified as Malama Hafsat (Lami) and her daughter are among 35 kidnapped passengers of the March 28 train attack in Kaduna who are still in captivity.

So far, 42 victims have regained their freedom, including Abubakar Idris Garba, his wife Maryama Abubakar Bobbo, and their four children.

Abubakar, is the son of a former Military Administrator of Kano and Benue States, Major General Chris Garba.

A Facebook user shared photos of Hafsat and her daughter, praying for their safe return.

It was recalled that recently a fresh video was released by terrorists who kidnapped passengers aboard the ill-fated Abuja -Kaduna train and it has elicited sympathy from the public, when the remaining victims were shown crying and wailing due to severe flogging by the terrorists.

An elderly woman amongst the captives was shown crying and pleading to the authorities to come to their immediate rescue, saying they don’t know what they’ve done to deserve such inhuman treatment.

In that video, Malama Hafsat was also seen wailing and crying  .

After the release of that video, about ten victims were already released. On this basis however, Malama Hafsat and her kid is still in captivity and some other victims too.
