Ikoyi Club 1938, Nigeria’s iconic social relaxation club, is gearing up to mark its 85th anniversary with a series of exciting and meaningful events. This historic milestone reflects the club’s enduring legacy of excellence and its commitment to fostering community and social responsibility.
The anniversary celebration officially kicked off with a grand press conference on Monday, September 25, 2023, where the iconic club warmly hosted members of the press to an afternoon of information sharing. It was at this event that the details of the forthcoming celebration were disclosed.
One of the highlights of this celebration is a thought-provoking symposium titled “Managing Change in Ageing Institutions.” The symposium will feature a distinguished speaker, former Lagos State Governor and past Minister of Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola. This event promises to be an insightful exploration of the challenges and opportunities faced by institutions with rich histories like Ikoyi Club 1938.
