A leadership expert and consultant, Mr Val Okafor, has urged Nigerian youths not to give up their positive dreams or be distracted in the pursuit of their positive dreams.
Okafor gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Abuja.
According him a journey to self-discovery will normally begin with fear, timidity, and a large amount of inferiority complex.
“As a youth, your background does not have everything it takes to support you. Dreams are not mere illusions; rather, they serve as the foundational building blocks for creating a life of significant influence.
“You might never get anywhere near fulfilling your purpose if you submerge yourself into the normal activities you have seen your mates indulge in. To stand out, there should be something different about you.
“There is the absolute need to imbibe and digest the concept of fruitfulness, multiplication, dominance, and the human role in replenishing the earth’’, he counseled.
According to him, if youths can make it, they can be fruitful in their minds, adding that they can create ideas, and make them come true.
“I encourage youths of this country not to give up on their dreams to make Nigeria a better nation. It is possible and realisable, thus, never give up,” he said.
Okafor, who is a leadership training consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Val Okafor Company, said he had the desire to make a difference in the lives of others, particularly young people.
He explained that from 2017, he dedicated his time, knowledge, skill, and resources to developing the leadership and entrepreneurial capacities of African Youths, while learning in the process.
He said his leadership and participatory action was impacting the young men and women in Nigeria and Africa have been deservingly recorgnised both locally and globally.
“Today continue to champion the cause of effective leadership and social innovation.
“My journey serves not as a testament to personal glory, but as a reminder of the limitless potential within each individual/youth,” he said.
