The love and support we share with one another is the common thread that binds us together.
This was contained in a statement signed by Busola Kukoyi, Senior Special Adviser on Media to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Wednesday 15th May, 2024.
According to the statement, First lady said, “Our families have been a constant source of comfort and stability, providing us with a sense of belonging and identity. We’ve learned to cherish every moment we share, big or small, and to appreciate the importance of family in our lives.
“As we mark this special day, let us take a moment to express our gratitude to our grandparents, parents, spouses, children, and siblings. Let us also remember our extended family and friends who enrich our lives in countless ways.
She further explained that a simple phone call, a handwritten note, or a shared meal can make a world of difference in showing our loved ones how much we care. So, let us celebrate and honor our families today and every day.
