Buhari Congratulates Tinubu On victory at PEPCl | The Legend News

Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a heartwarming congratulatory massage to President Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC.

The court on Wednesday, September 6th affirmation of the election victory of President Tinubu against the petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party, and the Allied Peoples Movement APM.

In a press statement signed by Garba Shehu, Buhari’s media adviser, the former President expressed joy over the ruling.
He said the PEPC has “written history” by spurning intimidation and all manner of prejudice to deliver justice according to law to a majority of citizens whose wish is that the choices they made are respected.

“If anybody has won today it is the democracy and the people,” adding “with the verdict of the Supreme Court, the election period is over and it is time to put the heat and dust behind us.” Buhari said.

He in addition, advised Tinubu led new APC administration to get the support of everyone in order to deliver the promises it made to the people.

The former President also appreciated all the Nigerian citizens for maintaining peace throughout this trying period and prayed for continued progress and development under the APC government.

He once again congratulated the President, the Vice President in the statement, and the APC on the victory in court, and praying for them to fulfil their peoples’ aspiration and promise.
