The Supreme Court, on Thursday, affirmed President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the valid winner of the presidential election that held in the country on February 25.
Supreme Court dismissed the application by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar to bring in new evidence.
Delivering the lead judgment at the Supreme Court, Justice Okoro stated that the Apex Court lacks jurisdiction to admit fresh evidence.
The Court also told Atiku Abubakar and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that they cannot call in additional witnesses after filing their briefs under the 21 day ultimatum for doing so.
