History was today made in far away Angola, as Nigeria’s Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio has been elevated into the Global Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The last time a Nigerian was elected into this position was in I1964. Commenting on his election, Senator Akpabio said his historic election could be liken to his historic as Guinness Book Records feat of the largest carol singers in the whole world between 2007 to 2015.
