SITUATION REPORT ON FIRE INCIDENT AT IJORA OLOPA MARKET (UNDER BRIDGE).
There was a fire Outbreak at frozen foods market located under the Eko bridge, Ijora Olopa Market, Lagos state, it occurred at the early hour of today .
The cause of the inferno could not be ascertained as at press time but all the shops located under the bridge were totally burnt.
According to the report gathered, no life was lost and no injuries sustained to anyone as a result of the incident.
This was contained in a statement e-signed and issued by Permanent Secretary/CEO LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu.
LASEMA PS, noted that ”Upon arrival at the incident scene, a frozen foods market located under the Eko bridge was found engulfed in fire.
”The immediate cause of the fire could not be ascertained but all the shops located under the bridge were totally burnt.
PS LASEMA further said that, no life was lost and no injuries sustained to anyone as a result of the incident.
The combined efforts of the LRT, LRU FIRE and LASG FIRE are on ground actively combating the fire.
