A Man truck with Registration Number (FSTFX 519 YC) was involved in a solitary accident and fallen in the middle of the road, which led to the blockage of main road,Inwards albalti barracks,Ojuelegba, Lagos.
The cause of the accident was due to the truck driver who lost control as a result of poor visibility from the heavy rain.
According to an eye witness, there was no loss of life nor injury recorded at the scene of the incident.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued by Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, PS LASEMA,it states”Upon arrival of the LRT at the incident scene, A MAN truck with Registration Number (FSTFX 519 YC) was discovered to have encountered a solitary accident and fallen in the middle of the road, which led to the blockage of main road.
“Further investigation by the LRT revealed that the truck driver lost control due to poor visibility from the heavy rain
“Fortunately, there was neither loss of life nor injury recorded at the incident scene.
“Lasema response team is making use of the agency elephant heavy equipment and an empty truck for transloading .
Update
He further said “The affected truck has been recovered to standing position and subsequently towed to Lastma office with the aid of the Agency’s heavy duty equipment Elephant while the road is now free for vehicular movement along the axis.
Recovery operation concluded,Cobra team with the Agency’s equipment are heading back to base in good condition,he said.
