Fallen Tanker at Igando enroute Ikola Command link Bridge in Lagos.
MRS tanker loaded with 40,000 litres of PMS, suddenly lost control as a result of brake failure and swerved off the road, causing danger to passer-by and motorists at Igando enroute Ikola Command link Bridge in Lagos.
In a press statement e-signed and issued by Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu
PS LASEMA, stated that “On arrival at the scene of the accident, an MRS tanker loaded with 40,000 litres of PMS was found to have crashed in-between a culvert along the corridor leaving the tanker in an unsafe position.
“Investigation conducted revealed that the truck while descending from Ipaja Bridge inward command lost control due to brake failure.No casualties was recorded at the scene.
Effort are presently ongoing to transload the content into another tanker.
