Football fans were thrilled to fantastic football as Arsenal fought back like a wounded lion to prevent their first loss in the English premiership league this season. They wonderfully leveled the two scored by Chelsea who were smiling home to victory with two goals in the second half to share the points at stake.
The Gunners ended the match in unbelievable 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday night. They have enviably guarded their unbeaten record in the Premier League season with their bunch of inspiring talented new players led by their all time record signing, Declan Rice. He and others turns out excellent performances in every match to keep Arsenal’s confidence to end the season with the league very promising.
As expected, it was Rice’s late goal and that of Leandro Trossard, denied Chelsea from winning the Gunners in their home ground in the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea came into the game with determination to defeat Arsenal. They took the lead in the 15th minute through penalty taken by
Cole Palmer after Arsenal defender William Saliba penalized by the referee for holding back Mudryk’s goal efforts in their 18- yard box. He awarded the spot kick after a VAR check and confirmation.
Chelsea’s second goal was scored by Mykhailo Mudryk three minutes after the half time, when he lifted the ball into the top right hand corner of the net over Raya, the Gunners goalkeeper.
Although, both Arsenals Raya and Chelsea’s goalkeeper ,Robert Sanchez were found wanting in the high energetic match, but Chelsea fans may find it hard to forgive Sanchez. It was one of his sloppy distribution that led to Arsenal’s 76th minute goal scored by Declan Rice. Rice won the ball and took a shot past the keeper into an open net.
Arsenal’s substitute Leandro Trossard netted the second goal from a clean Bukayo Saka cross in the 84th to it two goals for the Gunners. Trossard goal no doubt silenced Stamford Bridge. It most importantly aided Arsenal to keep faith in their bold hungry for this year’s league trophy as they remain as one of the top contenders of the English premiership league at present.
