The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is set to arraign former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, his daughter, Fatimah, and two other suspects in court on Thursday.
The suspects are facing charges over alleged N2.7 billion contract fraud uncovered in the Aviation Ministry under Sirika.
The embattled former Minister would be arraigned for trial for the first time, before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
Sirika is billed to appear in court with his three co-defendants, his daughter, Fatima; one Jalal Hamma, and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, on charges of abusing their positions to launder over N2.7 billion.

JUST IN : Court Grants Sirika, Daughter, Son-In-Law N100m Bail Each
Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, has granted the immediate past Aviation Minister, Hadi Sikira, his daughter, Fatima and son-in-law, Jalal Hamma, bail in the sum of N100 million each.
They were granted bail shortly after pleading not guilty to a six count charge read against them by the court.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned the trio as a firm, Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, over alleged abuse of office and fraud to the tune of N2.7 billion.
They were said to have committed the alleged offences while Sirika served as minister under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The trio however had up till close of work today (Thursday) to perfect their bail or be remanded in a Correctional Center.
Similarly, both Fatima and Hamma would be released upon meeting a bail of N100 million each.
As part of the conditions attached to the bail, the three defendants are to each produce two sureties in like sum, who must be residents of Abuja, owns verifiable properties and there international passports deposited with the court.
In addition, the defendants must not travel out of the court’s jurisdiction with permission from the court.
