Nigerian football fans are very sad that the Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, is not called up by coach Peseiro for this week’s last match between Nigeria and Sao Tome for next year’s AFCON.
Nigerian angry fans have bombarded online platforms to register their displeasure. A popular Sports online platform reported this recently. It stated;
“We’ve Received At Least 10 messages from fans… Asking Why The exclusion Of Super Eagles Captain fantastic Ahmed Musa from AFCON qualifier list.

Ahmed Musa was excluded from Super Eagles squad list for the dead-rubber AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe this weekend, without any convincing reasons by the Super Eagles Coaching crew.
“Fans are since reacting and bombarding our inbox with messages.
“Why is our Captain Ahmed Musa excluded? Is he injured? Please reply my messages” Abdul sent.
“All those critics can now rest. But, I’m sure Nigerians will cry if they make such mistake of snubbing him for the AFCON,” Ola said.
“No player in the team is more experienced than the governor; he is needed, at least for guidance. We’ll protest if the NFF fails to include him,” anonymous sent this one.
*Some fans are even attacking the platform admin… As if he is the one who caused the exclusion of Musa, the platform spoken man said.
