The Bible is the written Word of God and thus the ultimate set of guiding principles governing all areas of life for the people of God. Through these writings, God communicates his will, his laws, his nature, and his saving purpose to humanity.
Does God answers prayer?
The short answer is yes! God wants you to bring your concerns to Him, and He has promised to listen when you do.
In the Bible, there’s a book called Psalm. In it, a man named David wrote, “As for me, I call to God … and he hears my voice” (Psalm 55:16-17). God not only hears, but He is eager to respond.
As Christians, we know that we can at times have a bitter spirit. It can happen to any one of us if we are not careful. The root of the bitterness can grow a substantial amount before we overcome it with goodness.
Having an unforgiving attitude, unresolved anger, resentment, hate, jealousy, and continued disappointment are just a few of life’s struggles that cause us to plunge into bitterness. When we are dealing with a bitter spirit, we often look for help or someone to heal us of the bad feeling.
The Word of God is the healing balm for a bitter spirit. Reading through it in small doses at a time can help release the tortured soul to know love, joy, and peace from the Holy Spirit.
